how do you opine?
I think every single "player" in this mess would have been wise to have stayed away from the media. It does not seem like the media has done anything at all to help solve this case. Perhaps it would have been a better idea to use the Aruban media to help try and figure out what happened to Natalee instead of using the media in the United States.
Joran tried to counterbalance some of the things being said about him in the media. Beth tried to use the media (on the advise of John Walsh) to keep this case in the news. How did that work for her? She should have kept it in the Aruban media instead of the US media, this case happened in Aruba, did it not?
The media can be used in this type of case to try and find a resolution but in this particular case it seems it was used in a totally different way. The media in this case was used such as it is used in political circles. Publicity was used from both sides in really weird ways, not to actually find Natalee or to find a resolution.
Everyone may have had good intentions but the road to h*ll is paved with good intentions!
This of course is my opinion and only my opinion!
