She said, she said
I thought it might be fun to back up to the very beginning of this debacle, yes folks, that's right when Beth Twitty first discovered she loved the limelight, and Nancy Grace discovered someone who flings shit better than she does.
So here we go kiddies:
| Quote: |
GRACE: Ms. Twitty, that night, I understand, there were about 125 to 150 students that went on the trip?
TWITTY: Yes, you`re right. |
GRACE: And about 40 -- did I get that right -- about 40 chaperones and relatives?
TWITTY: I really don`t have any, you know, information that would be pertinent about that.
----------------------------------------------------------
Really? You don't know how many? Why the hell not? You entrusted your daughter to these bozos, and you don't even know how many clowns were aboard?
--------------------------------------------------------------
| Quote: |
And I just really want to focus on that, from that time when Natalee left Carlos and Charlie`s at 1:30, she has simply vanished. And our efforts -- we just want to concentrate all our efforts on staying focused and staying focused on finding Natalee.
|
==================================
Of course you do Beth, you sure as hell don't want to bring up anything that went on before the infamous Carlos and Charlies, WooHoo Aruba departure of the Virgin American Tourist, Full-Ride Scholarship, Everybody's child.
--------------------------------------------------------------
| Quote: | GRACE: Well, my point, Ms. Twitty, was it seems to me that there were a lot of chaperones. This was not some lark that was poorly planned. There were her high school friends there with her at Carlos and Charlie`s that night. It`s not like she had gone off on her own. It seems like she was following all the rules that you try to tell your kids to follow.
TWITTY: Oh, absolutely, absolutely. That`s why, you know, this is such a mystery. It`s a mystery to Aruba, and it`s a mystery to the United States. So we just -- we will find her.
|
-----------------------------------------------------------
Gee Nancy, could you define "lots". Does that mean two or three, ten to twenty, thirty to forty? Or does it mean five or six? Can you clarify this for us? Didn't think so. And once again, the twit cannot put a sentence together
--------------------------------------------------------------------
| Quote: | GRACE: Ms. Twitty, what are you doing to find your girl? I know one night, my mom visited me here in New York. I left her at the corner. I went across the street to get coffee and doughnuts. I came back, and she was gone.
|
======================================
Nancy, Nancy, what are you some kind of idiot? You lost your mom in NYC, and you expect us to believe that you were in a panic. Unless your mother suffers from Alzheimers (which you didn't state), then I call BS.
----------------------------------------------------------------
| Quote: | I called 911. I was literally running up and down the streets trying to find her. I was in the back of a police car trying to find her. Well, of course, we found her. She was on the wrong floor of my apartment building. But it was a period of hours I will never forget.
|
------------------------------------------------------
Never mind, you are an idiot.
------------------------------------------------
From the mouth of Rick Sanchez another CNN genius:
| Quote: | But let me tell you what some of the students and some of the parents that I`ve talked to here have told me. There is a Web site for Carlos and Charlie`s. And on that Web site, when students go down there, they take their pictures while they`re on the dance floor partying and having a good time, as kids are apt to do.
|
| Quote: | And in those pictures, some of these students said they were able to identify some of the young men that they saw dancing or hanging around with Natalee. They have, as far as I understand, made authorities aware of those young men. And authorities are now trying to match those faces, those young men, those pictures on that particular Web site with some of the officials on the island.
|
-------------------------------------------------------------
Really? Identified them from pictures on a website? That's a new one to me.
------------------------------------------------------
There's more! I'm just getting started

I'm too tired to look up quotes, but I am enjoying you doing it. Keep up the good work. While you are at it, see if you can find some of her "it's just not relevant" quotes. Those are always good for a laugh.

and of course
beth already knew natalee left the bar with three guys. ruth knew one of them. she lured him to the bar and introduced him to natalee. natalee called shotgun on him. she had a chance to get out of the car but she decided to go for a ride. ruth was tired, she went home after joran showed up and she handed him off to natalee. why all the mystery. certainly the kids knew who natalee left with though none admits it. nobody was the least bit worried when she stayed out all night. they knew that was the plan.

are you sure they all thought he was a tourist from holland? i don't think any of the direct witnesses to the blackjack session and the arrangements for the meeting sat the bar have said that. in fact, little ruth has said he told them the place was dead on sundays and they though it ironic when he showed up. now how would a tourist speak so knowledgeably of the of the Sunday night club scene?

thats what they said he was. nobody said they were smart mb kids.
the sporter could have been on ths island for a few sundays. i do not believe they thought the sporter to be local. why would a local be hang out at a casino on a Sunday if the local has school the next day?

I always wonder if some S.A. doctors, nurses and/or physical therapists have seen her long after anyone in Aruba.

And one more before I go to bed:
| Quote: |
Elgin Zeppenfeldt, an attorney for Satish Kalpoe, accused Beth Holloway Twitty of making "prejudicial, inflammatory, libelous and totally outrageous" statements.
"She called our client, Mr. Satish Kalpoe, a 'criminal,' 'involved in a violent crime against my daughter' and who is 'allowed to walk freely
|
| Quote: | ---------------------------------------------------------------
"The statements I made on July 5th were fueled by despair and frustration because of still not knowing where my daughter is," Beth Holloway Twitty said in a statement to the media. "I think everyone, everyone can sympathize with that." |
Not much of an apology.
| Quote: | Twitty's comments come two days after a lawyer threatened legal action over what she said about the two brothers released from an Aruban jail in the case of missing 18-year-old Natalee Holloway.
After Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and his brother, Satish, 18, left jail, Twitty said she was convinced they "were involved in a violent crime against my daughter," and questioned how they could be allowed "to walk freely among the tourists and citizens of Aruba."
|
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
In other words, Beth was threatened with legal action which may have made a dent in her love bowl dollars, so she eats a little crow and moves on.

You just gotta love it!

So WHICH "relatives" were there?
Jug? Aunt Marcia? Uncle Jar? Uncle Paul Reynolds? The Twitty Twins? George? Megan?

I almost posted asking for the date of the interview. Then, I saw 'that's not pertinent (relevant)' aned knew exactly when it was.

There's a strange passage where Beth visits a poor neighborhood. Rather than displaying empathy with people who suffer, she makes it all about her fear of getting mugged.

Post from RU---
<snip>
Now, bear in mind that Beth knows exactly why she's going down there in the first place: to find and haul her legal-age daughter back into her sphere of control.
I think Natalee has run off once or twice before (Costa Rica? Puerto Rico?) and the Beth Group, Inc. has had to go retrieve her before.
So this is an older, practiced skill of hers, and she and her posse know exactly what to do:
a) get there quick,
b) don't involve the local police,
c) take enough people and money to bully and/or bribe the locals into telling her where Natalee is hiding.
Track down her last known whereabouts, etc., and follow the trail from there.
NOTE that you don't want the local police involved, because in essence what the Twits are doing is going to kidnap a legal-age adult (the daughter) from a foreign land.
So while many people are puzzled as to "why would Beth interfere with the ALE investigation, etc.", I think the real point is that Beth Etc. wanted to keep the ALE out of the picture for very good and simple reasons.....
perhaps they had run into some problems with the local authorities when trying to retrieve Natalee in the past?
.......and so they not only planned but needed to handle this matter, as the Soprano's would say, "within the family."
This nicely explains why they did not contact ALE when they arrived, nor check hospitals, etc.
They did, however, contact Croes, the cell-phone guy, because they thought he had or could provide some assistance in tracking down her last known whereabouts, etc.
They already suspected....I think Julia Renfro has confirmed this.....that Natalee was infatuated with a tall, blue-eyed, Dutchman that she was involved with during her stay in Aruba (he turned out to be a Dutch Marine or Coast Guard person, and was cleared of any involvement in this matter).
So the twits find Croes, learn about CnC, learn that Natalee left with a tall Dutchman, and have Croes do some digging to find out who the tall CnC Dutchman is (Joran) and where he lives.
By this time, drat the luck, the police have gotten involved, and accompany the Twits to the 3:00 am confrontation with the Van der Sloots.
AND HERE IS WHERE THE TWITS CAREFUL PLAN FELL APART, AND "PHASE II" OF THE OPERATIONAL COVER-UP HAD TO BEGIN.
The Twits expected that they could do a "surgical strike" type of search-and-rescue type of operation, find Natalee, and take her back home (against her will), and desperately wanted to avoid contact with ALE because:
a) maybe of what Natalee would say to them about why she's fleeing Camp Holloway, and/or.....
b) if the ALE found Natalee first, then the ALE would have told the Twits to get the fuck out of Dodge, and oh btw, perhaps the FBI who you lied to back in the US might be interested in knowing that Natalee says you, Beth, knew it wasn't a kidnapping at all, it's just that I, Natalee, don't want to be around these people......
So now the Twits are in a real bind: they haven't found Natalee (strike 1), and the ALE is involved (huge strike 2), so they have to go into a double-cover-up song and dance routine:
a) conceal the reasons why Natalee ran away, by establishing not only Natalee's "good character", but also establishing Beth's "great character" as a concerned mother who would do anything to get her child back, etc....
b) keep the ALE from actually finding Natalee first, now that they are officially involved in the case.
Note how these two mutually necessary but contradictory stances (cover-ups) would both have to be maintained by the Twittys in order not to get Beth's tit in the wringer.
This is why there may be so many lies, many of them seeming nonsensical and not in her (Beth's) best interest to undertake, and all producing the desired result of not having someone other than themselves find Natalee.
NOTICE ALSO HOW VERY SIMPLE THEIR MOTIVATIONS ARE. And even though the visible actions and behaviors get all complicated and seem to be a veritable jungle of surrealism, the basic, core motivations that leads to all these behaviors are really very, very simple........
Remember how Beth said that when she came out of the first meeting with ALE, there were TV cameras all over the place, and that's when Beth "realized we were in trouble"? Why would TV and media coverage to get the word out about a missing, perhaps harmed person, be seen as "trouble" for her?
Because their plan--find Natalee before anyone else does first--was falling apart, and added levels of cover-up needed to be added.
First and foremost, keep ALE out of the picture, or chasing the wrong people (J2K).
Hey, kidnapping worked really well on that 110+ mph jaunt across Mississippi, so "gang-rape" and "murder" might do really well now, right?
It mattered not that BHT had found the "wrong" tall Dutchman; she had bigger fish to fry.
She had to keep ALE from actually finding Natalee first.
And she couldn't let on to that.
All she could do is give ALE false information, or withold information that was "not relevant" to the case, so that ALE would pursue the wrong people, while her posse continued to hang out the "Big Hootie to Little Hootie" posters which expressed their real opinions about what happened:
Natalee ran away, again, and hey, "just call me and we can work it out."
The word "it" is high-lighted above, because as some of you remember, I have harped over and over again here, and elsewhere....especially with Arbeej, about the whole "it" issue.
And I still think that Jody Bearman, the travel agent who arranged the trip, and one of the Fab 7 on the plane ride down to Aruba with the posse, opened her loud mouth and spilled the beans about the whole deal early on with this statement:
Quote:
"Jody Bearman saying of the private flight to Aruba: "We discussed it on the flight that, when we get there and get our hands on her, we're gonna be scolding her and telling her she shouldn't have wandered off. Um, you know, nobody believed it would get to this point."
The word "it" in the last sentence of Bearman's is telling.
What does that word "it" refer back to?
"It" has to refer back to some situation or some type of knowledge that the Jody/the Fab 7 already had, in order for the sentence to make sense.
I believe that "it" refers back to the knowledge that they had that Natalee...via her mid-week phone call to Beth (or perhaps it was one of their "spies" reporting back to Beth about Natalee's doings with a tall, blue-eyed Dutchman, it makes no difference to this theory)...
that Natalee had threatened to not come back, and Sister Beth (of "Hitler's Sister" fame) said to herself "fuck no, you ain't staying, and I'm coming to get you sucka'.
Even if it's against the law, and against your will.......
So, to recap: Beth is in a twit because daughter has disobeyed.
So she plans to go in like the Navy Seals into a sovereign land and retrieve her wayward daughter, without the assistance of ALE, which she not only felt was not needed but couldn't be allowed to happen. But things went very, very wrong, very very quickly.
And everything, EVERYTHING we've seen and heard after that, for the last 9+ months, is related to just those three things.
A cover-up of a cover-up of a cover-up amidst a plan gone astray.
So the questions remain: what was the original cover-up?
In other words, besides the "Beth tries to kidnap Natallee from Aruba" issue, what might be the deeper cover-up that so much time, money, and effort needed to spent on this circus?
I think this explains a lot of things. The fixation on Joran/Kalpoes is merely a cover-up that came about because due to bad luck, poor planning, etc. on the part of the Twitty's, ALE cannot be allowed to find Natalee.
The Twits have to be the ones to find Natalee.
Because otherwise, [b]Natalee might either spill some very explosive information about Mom or the Fab 7, or Natalee would tell ALE: "tell my Mom to go fly a kite, I'm a grown up and you---ALE---needs to protect me from her!".
