looks like he got rid of her

but she could have run away look how many times tht happened

she may have done it before we don't know

she could even have faked her death knowing the world would suspect and maybe convict him

what better revenge

Better revenge would be to keep in touch with her children, other family and friends. No, if she's alive, she must be very unhappy.
