All sentences have already been handed down and the cash cow status is about to be revoked. |

OvJ Hans Mos; press-conference 26-02-2008:

Beth will make a few bucks from the Lifetime movie, and we have yet to see the tour of "The Wall."
If things get really tight there could be a pay-per-view memorial service.

About a year ago, as I sat in my favourite book store, speed-reading Beth's novel (I'd never buy the thing), it became clear that the style was so transparently a screenplay. The highly descriptive narrative of Paul's sweat dripping into the table; the rats at the Buccaneer; the iguana droppings on the sidewalk. These were all visuals that seemed so extraneous to a book titled "Loving Natalee".
I don't think it would be unreasonable to believe that she pitched that book as the basis for a movie, or in the alternative, the book was written with a movie deal already in the bag. Perhaps she and her connections will be able to land Lifetime an emmy for this as well.
What a gravy train!!!

Maybe you will be able to go to a electronics store and watch the movie for free too.

Interesting that you mention memorial service. a very good friend of mine asked me yesterday what Beth had done in honor of Natalee ... like a memorial or a scholarship or any of the usual things parents that have been thru what Beth has, have done in honor of their children?
I came up with .... NOTHING!!! What has she done in honor of her daughter other than make money off of her daughter ...
anyone care to tell me from the other side?

She has dedicated herself to warn other young girls to stay away from the likes of the van der sloots.

Which is not the same thing at all - she has done nothing really in the name of Natalee - nothing that shows a giving spirit or a way of showing her love for her daughter in a way as in Her Memory!!

Hey don't all you Beth supporters rush to answer the question of what exactly She has done to immortalize or honor her daughter. After 3 plus long years surely there must be something ...
well then maybe not and then the question is why not????

Don't know what she has done; and IMO it's a private matter anyway. Maybe they have done things - a place to remember her - had some kind of service...maybe they haven't. Concerning the money; I think money raised for Natalee is properly taken care off. There are rules / regulations concerning those things and besides that I don't doubt the family's integrity as some.
Beth & Dave (and her brother / sisters / family / friends) honor Natalee every moment though; she is a part their being...she's in their heart & soul; what more honor do you expect from a parent anyway? They love her, fight for her and will continue to do so.
To critize the lack of public display of how & when parents of a missing child might have honored / remembered their daughter is disgusting.

Sorry I disagree - many many many parents from Laci Peterson's to the Goldmans to John Walsh and the mother of Amber -- who we now have the Amber alert for --and many many others, have supported amazing causes - enacted bills and created scholarships etc --- it is much more noticeable that Beth has not - so I believe it is something to wonder about - especially do to the fact that she pulled in $$$$$$$ of dollars - so I am still waiting for what she has done.

The bodies of Laci & Conner Peterson, Ron Goldman and Adam Walsh were all recovered, IIRC.
They had all been murdered.
-------
Reminder for tonight -
Laughing for Laci, an evening of comedy to benefit The Laci & Conner Search & Rescue Fund, will be held tomorrow at the Gallo Performing Arts center. Plan for a night of entertainment hosted by Larry King, featuring Colin & Brad and Wendy Liebman. Ticket sales and sponsorships will go towards The Laci & Conner Search and Rescue Fund. There will be a VIP reception held from 6:30pm to 7:30.

If Beth had a memorial for Natalee before a body was found, folks would then say she just wanted a death certificate or something like that. No matter how this situation with Natalee's disappearance is handled, someone would find fault. JMO
