How does Acorn fit into todays failed economic talks?
No wonder McCain rejected the scheme.
Sen Lindsey Grahm (R) just stated on "On the Record" that in the proposed recovery package, the "deal that is on the table now is not a very good deal as 20% of the money that should go to retire debt that would be created to solve this problem winds up in a housing organization called Acorn that is an absolute ill run enterprise and I can't belive we would take money away from debt retirement and put it in a housing program that doesn't work."
