Joran only wished he could catch a Byrd like Frances Ellen.......She'd be footing that gambling bill like Celine did for Rene.

OMG! Who are these evil beings who might be trying to "resurrect Natalee's character"? We certainly can't have that!
I didn't even know it was ever dead. Who killed it?
Can't have anyone saying anything of a postive nature about Natalee???
Her character or lack thereof should have no bearing on any investigation unless one believes there are people who deserve to be made disappear because of character traits.
I understand that is exactly the way a lot of bigots and murders, etc. do think, however.

You must be reading back several pages right now. For a delightful change, this thread hasn't been so much about Natalee or Beth today. Can you believe it? I've laughed myself silly over several posts today. If you're not starting several pages back, you should scroll back a few for some great chuckles.
And even better, it was all pretty much in good humor with little complaint, poster v poster stuff, etc. that gets posters in trouble from time to time.
ETA: Don't definitively remember if this thread was ever focused on Natalee or Beth, just guessing from the post.

Yep just catching up and back reading.
Any news of how Patrick's book is as far as sales? Last I heard that was going pretty well.
Don't tell me all those people are going to read about the sporter being a rent boi? Is that part in the book as well?
Also am curious if Patrick ever met Marten Bakc?
And is Joran back in The Netherlands or is he still on his Asian Road Tour, performing for one and all to the laughs of many I am sure.
And I do find the joking around to be hysterical. All camel toe and no stubby is boring!

From Patrick's blog yesterday, courtesy of google (mis)translator:
"Although only 4 of the 6 koopdagen in the store is' Discards' this week immediately made it into the CPNB Books Top-60 on the 25th place as the top entrants.
Meanwhile, the publisher the second edition to prepare. Send you all you think about the book to this site and then make a selection of the best front that the new press will be included."
Don't know if Patrick ever met Martin or for sure if the rentboi info from ALE is included. Translations are coming slowly but thank goodness for those willing to put the time into it! September is a long time to wait for the English translation.
No idea where Jo V is working -- er, I mean partying naked at these days.

Maybe Jo V is just depending upon the kindness of strangers...
So Patrick's book is a hit in the Netherlands...I wonder why so many people there find it fascinating?

In the U.S., probably. Or Italy. I guess it depends where Joran happens to be at any particular time. Bert de Rooij is his NL lawyer. In Aruba he is represented by Carlo & Sloot. No word on any Thai lawyer...yet.

Mallory, I apologize. I had no idea a lot of the funny parts were cut/moved from the thread until I just went to look for a terrifically funny post by resigned earlier today. No wonder one of us was a bit off track --- it was me!

Wouldn't work for Joran as she wouldn't be able to find them!!!
Joe T had John Gotti Jr and other mafia notables among his clients. Maybe he can help Joran with his career since his relationship with Patrick seems to have turned a bit sour.
