Only days after Natalee Holloway's disappearance on the Dutch-Caribbean island of Aruba,
American blogger Dan Riehl started to write about the case and sollicit comments from his readers.
His site Riehlworldview quickly became the most widely read blog on the subject and its readers
contributed countless bits of information - anything from eyewitness accounts to TV transcripts,
articles found elsewhere, photos, tips, hints, and an abundance of speculation and gossip was
amassed in its pages. Unfortunately, bickering posters succeeded in driving down the Natalee
Holloway section and it was closed in May of 2006, robbing the internet of this treasure trove
of information.
As luck would have it, one of our participants had made a full copy of the site a few months
earlier. We have cleaned up and re-indexed the pages, and with Dan
Riehl's kind permission,
