Strange Math
For the record, following is what Robin Holloway told the guest host on last night's Scarborough show re the medication that Natalee was taking. The full transcript is at msnbc.com and the refugees board along with a lively discussion about the medication.
SMERCONISH: It sounds like they’re trying to say, “Well, she had too much booze, too much drug use, and, as a result, she caused her own death.”
HOLLOWAY: I have known Natalee for, what, 13 or 14 years. She is not a drug user. She does not abuse drugs. The only drug we know that she was on at that time was a Z-pac (ph) for a sinus infection. If she was drugged, it was because of the last drink Joran gave her, either compliments of Joran or the bartender
18 - 14 = 4
Moved to Mountan Brook when she was 14
The mother dated the vessel for 8 years before marrying and moving to Mountain Brook
Don't Robin and Dave have 4 or 5 or 6 year old kids.
- how long has Robin known Dave
- how long have they been married
- how long did they wait to procreate
- where was the missing girl and her brother
- did they live with Dave and Robin for all those years
- if not how does she know her for 14 years
- if not why did they wait so long to procreate

That means that NH would have had to have been prescribed that Z pac
the very day that she left for Aruba, which is right near impossible.
Because the Z pac is 2 tablets the first day and then 1 tablet a day for 4 days.
So the Z pac story is just so much bs.

IIRC, Beth and Jug got married in 2000. They dated for 8 years before that which is 1992.
So, it would be conceivable that Robin and Dave met the same year or shortly thereafter.

That eight-year courtship was probably necessary because Jug and Wendy weren't legally divorced--although perhaps legally separated--until about 2000.

Well, a "Z-Pac" is just that, packaged medicine in a foldover package.
It's an antibiotic, which clearly when taking such, instructions tell you NOT TO Drink.
My husband, a very large guy, and, likin' his straight Jack Danials at the time, made that fatal mistake.
Mr Big Stuff ended up "D*ck in the Dirt" on his 1st drink of the evening - Just WHAM.
One minute he was fine, then the next he was passed out cold with his head in his salad.
Also - If I remember correctly, what Beth showed as Natalee's medication was a bottle.
Certainly not a "Z-Pac of any kind.

I know what Z pac is and have taken it (and other antibiotics) and had alcohol at same time, and never felt the worse for wear.
However, my point is that the Z pac story is just another piece of bullshit.

Sorry to be the party-pooper here, but there is a very reaonsable explanation. Robin need not be dating or married to Dave to know Natalee. I mean, how big is that town they lived in anyway? They could have all gone to same same church, have had friends in common, maybe he met Dave through his kids, who knows?
As for the Z-pack, I've taken that before for a sinus infection. It's an antibiotic. You take 2 pills the first day, then 1 pill for the next few days, until you finish the pack. Unless she took the first ones on the day she left Alabama, she should have been done with it sometime during her vacation, probably even a few days before she went missing.

I'm beginning to see why the Holloway / Twitty's rarely deal in specifics and rely instead on vaugeries and statements such as "You know, Greta, that's just not relevant." When you stop to take a hard look at some of the timelines in this case, s0opy's excellent example included, it ALWAYS seems as if something just doesn't 'add up'.
