LEJUEZ: Well, both the statement that I`ve read from two of this young boys state very clearly that they dropped her off at the hotel at approximately 2 o`clock in the morning. She got out of the car. She was under the influence of alcohol. And then they saw her walk through the front door of the hotel inside the lobby.
At that point -- and perhaps that`s interesting to know -- at that point, they state they saw a man dressed in a black pair of trousers with a black t-shirt and, like, a walkie-talkie in his hand come to her, speak to her, and that`s when they left.

LEJEUZ: They arrested them possibly based on very circumstantial evidence, which I believe would never hold in a court case.
VAN SUSTEREN: What is that circumstantial evidence, sir?
LEJEUZ: Well, there is one boy, kind of a beach bum, who stated that he saw them walking around the pool area around the time of night that Natalee must have disappeared. And there is another employee of the hotel who stated that he saw two security guards walking the area around that time. But they have not been positively identified by these people.

LEJEUZ: There is no conflict in their statements. There has been a slight adjustment because one of them stated that he did not visit the Holiday Inn hotel on that Sunday.
Later, he remembered that there was a beach party and that he did go to the hotel area in the morning. Now what they say now is clearly the same

SAN NICOLAS, Aruba --
Aruba Attorney General Carin Jansen told reporters gathered at a press conference Sunday that while the arrest of two men was related to the case due to unspecified "tips," she declined to provide further details.
She would not say whether there was a connection between those two men and three others who had previously been questioned in connection with the Mountain Brook teen's disappearance.
Jansen answered most questions from reporters with a terse, "That is part of the investigation, and I can't discuss it."
Several additional details on the search for Holliway did come out during the press conference.
Jansen confirmed that law enforcement officials in Aruba had asked for help from an FBI diving team. She also told reporters that while police had not confiscated clothing or other items that would directly link the two arrested men to Holloway, they had seized other "items of interest to the case."
She also said that the two men arrested were considered "solid leads" in the case.

The two men in custody were former security guards for a hotel two blocks from the Holiday Inn where Holloway had been staying. Their work contracts had expired the day before she disappeared, a police officer told The Associated Press. A judge was to decide on Wednesday if authorities had sufficient grounds to continue holding them, Janssen said. Police have refused to reveal the charges against them.
The guards were known to police because they had a habit of going around to hotels trying to pick up women or bum cigarettes, said the officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Police policy prohibits authorities from discussing details of an investigation before they are presented in court.
The officer said several islanders told police that the men were seen hanging out frequently at different hotels talking to female tourists trying to pick them up in a friendly manner. No complaints had been filed against the men.

On June 3rd, a security-tape of Hyatt Regency was reveiwed that had been recording street walkers near the beach Monday 30 May around 2 o clock in the morning. Sources tell that the videotape shows a young lady, walking alone, in direction of Allegro.

On your question how I know what time I left, I will explain the following:
I got there around 21:00 and left between 23:00 and 24:00. I don’t remember the exact time well. I do remember I had to leave because the next day I was asked to work.
On your question if I walked by the lobby of the hotel, I will explain to you the following:
I walked by means of the sand because my car was parked between the “Allegro Hotel” and the “Hyatt Hotel”.
On your question what kind of car I drive, I will explain to you the following:
I drive a red “Toyota Tercel”, license number x-xxxxx. The car is owned by my mother.

On June 4th during the Beth Twitty Press conference, a public official received a phone call stating that a security guard from the Allegro found Natalee's driver's license.
The police, government officials, and the press all left the HI and went directly to the Allegro to search for Natalee -- this took about four hours and then MJ and AJ were arrested on June 5th. The group from the HI arrived at the Allegro before any patrol car arrived.
Tito, Julia, Angela, Dilma, Pedro Diaz, and Diario were standing right there when a public official got the call. Everyone left together (Press, Family, Gov't, ALE) to go to the Allegro because of the "tip." The FBI assisted in theis search.

From our fox affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama joins us on the phone from Aruba, covering the search for Natalee Holloway. Just got off the phone with the deputy chief in Aruba and confirmed they have detained two people. It happened about 7 a.M.
This morning, they arrested the two men and he stresses these are not one of the original three persons of suspects, these are two men that are security Guards at Allegra hotel. After the news conference yesterday, the hotel a few doors down where Natalee and friends were staying on the senior Trip, they went room by room, floor by floor, and yesterday, authorities told us No new developments after they left the building, but this morning, confirming two security Guards that worked at the Allegra hotel.

Whatley told FBI that "security guards" were suspicious, and while taking a nap one afternoon in their HI room, someone tried to open the sliding glass door. When Whatley looked out the curtain, she saw someone "in a dark uniform going around the corner". This incident WAS reported to Hotel Security WHILE the kids were still there.

Caperone Bob Plummer claimed that he confronted someone at the Holiday Inn who harrassed the MB kids regarding offering them drugs.

Everyday, Papito Colmanecia, the spokesman for the ALE went to Beth at the HI, twice a day and sat with her for half and hour and brought her up to date on everything.
After two weeks she went on TV and said the ALE wasn't telling her anything.
That day he called her and told her that would be his last visit.
