I believe the "cow turd 4" are Honey, ViVi, Red Dog, and Jenny.
These are the people that some believe that if they were banned, the board would go back to how it "used to be", and this forum would be perfect. 
Personally- I believe that if the cow turd 4 were all banned that it would only be a matter of time before a new cow turd gang would be elected as "the cause of all of our problems". Would "it" stop at just those 4 if admin. decided to ban those four b/c some here think they are the root of all evil?
It is a bizarre case in human nature when it comes to laying blame...

Yes. There was an innocuous discussion about butter and measurements one day when (VC, I think) was making a recipe and wanted to know how much a "cube" of butter was.
Everyone weighed in with opinions. Somehow in the discussion, Jenny mentioned a butter keeper she had (that was a gift from her mother in law). Others had never heard of such a thing. It is a dish-type container...you put water in one level and butter in the other, and you can then keep the butter out on your counter, at room temperature all the time. I don't remember whether it was Jenny or someone else, but someone posted a picture of the dish, which included the fact that it came from Williams-Sonoma and cost $40.
So then several started making fun of Jenny because she had a $40 butter dish. They also brought up references she had made to other things, such as her shoes, implying that JM only has expensive things. And that she was bragging, etc.
It took off from there...some others started coming back with responses making a JOKE out of the butter dish, since some were being so ridiculous about it.
All IMO, because this is as I remember it going down. Probably the posts are still somewhere on the board.

I do think it was Jenny herself that posted the pic of her butter keeper, but I wouldn't swear to it.
Oh those were the days. Hard to believe we've been around together this long now.

Okay, next question, when you split my posts, where did you take them and what did you do with them once you got them there? I presume you took them into HE. Am I right?
Once you got them there, did you use them to start a new thread in HE? I'm guessing you did. If my posts were so inappropriate, why didn't you just split them out of this thread and use them to start a new thread right here in the moderated forum? You could have done that you know.

I am sorry Dallas, I do not see my post as snippy, just factual. But, maybe the tone was indicative of the tone of the post I was responding to?
I do not like being accused of making decisions based on some ulterior motive or because I am playing favorites. CR's posts were not the only ones I moved, and frankly, I never looked at who made a post, only the content.
If Charlierat had asked his question in a pm, I would have reponded in a pm. I saw no reason not to answer on the board as he was not the only poster who questioned where/why their posts were moved.
And, finally, argumentative to me Dallas. As the mod dealing with a thread, I can only make decisions based on how I perceive the post. Sure, it becomes highly subjective when it is based on one person's views and opinions, but I do the best I can.
I am human but I resent even the slightest suggestion that I am not fair. Of course I have my share of posters I like a lot (you, for instance as you know), but I do my damndest to make sure that doesn't affect any decisions I make on the board.
And, before I get off my soapbox, let me add that I have about reached my limit with the bashing of RefugeesUnleashed as a board. This equates to bashing Joy and VC in my eyes and they have more patience than I do for allowing it to continue. If you don't like some of the posters here, fine. If you don't like the board as a whole, then just leave.

Hindsight is 20/20 Charlierat. You are correct, I could have started a new thread on this forum, but the idea did not cross my mind until a little while ago. I plan to do exactly that in the next 24 hours.
Give a new mod a break huh CR? I have no experience at this, I am learning as I go along. Making decions on the spur of the moment is not easy and sometimes there is not a mentor around to confer with.
