Give a new mod a break huh CR? I have no experience at this, I am learning as I go along. Making decions on the spur of the moment is not easy and sometimes there is not a mentor around to confer with.

Like I said, I do the best I can.

Thank you, I look forward to discussing all the reasons why it is fatal to this board to continue to have an HE forum.

Word to you and Fu-Gee (and Diva, VC and Joy). Moving discussions into HE should be a last resort. HE is not supposed to be a discussion forum; it is supposed to be a place where people can go to settle private disputes privately.

Sometimes threads will be moved here after the topic cools down and sometimes the thread might be moved here while it is very hot. There is no requirement for a moderator to move a topic here and no one should be upset or insulted if his or her topic is moved here-- this forum is not a punishment. It's just another forum.

Even though this forum is for heated exchanges, if posts become extremely abusive, obscene, spamming, or threatening, it could result in account deactivation with or without prior warning, at our discretion. When and where? Show me one thread that is on topic right now. CRL is going to be B U S Y if that's the new rule.

If you use words like cesspool again, or try poster bashing, I suspect they'll end up in HE.

you asked:

"if CRL feels that my posts are off topic to the thread he/she can move them or delete them?"

i said:

"that is generally how it works."

i didn't say any threads were on topic. you asked if a mod could move stuff if they felt it was off topic. i said yes.

Hello CR,

The OP has nothing to do with Heated Exchange, yet all of your posts and posts of others were simply to give your opinion/argue about what you think should be done with HE.

I would never be a mod if you had to put up with disrespect...I think CRL handled the situation with class even though I saw a couple posters showing disrespect.

I agree, I think CRL is doing a good job. I also think that big issues such as getting rid of HE should be addressed in PMs to Joy and VC.
They are the only ones who could make that kind of decision and to me it is getting tiresome to see the whining of a few who want everything their way. Twisted Evil

I'm catching up as usual, impossible to read all the threads. I sure don't understand why HE will be fatal to Refs as some are saying, there is so much nasty stuff
and name calling on the "regular" threads that it makes HE look pretty good to me. Twisted Evil
