Lushie!! Are you hot or what? Your shopping trip sounds fabulous!

No, I don't have my fall shopping done. I'm broke. Crying or Very sad

Anyway, we wear the same clothes mostly all year round in FL. Very Happy

bought some brown --beige lace tops today. i still have tags on clothes in closet. i like black skirts -have about 10 above knee and long. i am the high heel type black nylons.when dressed up. i like blue jean skorts -and shorts for casual / its hot here in fl. so i am in bathing suit a lot too if on boat. i am a shoe nut ! i noticed lots of pumpkin colors in store today . i decided no on it--orange is not my color. love purples -teals --mauves and black for dress . i have 3 closets -- i think i have enough . i better stop shopping and wear some of it! I Love Love orange and rust and all those warm Fall colours ..

But for shoes, I always stick with Brown, Black, Navy and Beige or Taupe ..
I don't care for "coloured" shoes .. too flashy ..writergal

As I was shopping at Banana Republic for my son today I noticed their socks for women. They were a bargin price and I just couldn't refuse them. (I love socks). They had them 5 for $20 and they had argyle's and paisleys. Dear Jessie, they were so cute. I would almost kill for a pair of argyles. They had a plaid suit in a butterscotch color that was exactly like one I had in high school. I almost died. It was made exactly the same and I actually have a picture (somewhere) in that suit because I was crazy about it. I should have saved it.

I love socks too Very Happy especially the cozy, fluffy ones I wear around the house .. Laughing Laughing Laughing

I'm like Flapper, I really can't wear a true orange with my coloring, but can wear pumpkin and rust colors, and coral/salmon colors.

I can remember a few seasons back where it was harder than heck to even find brown boots! No one seemed to want to carry that color.

Oh you could find green and cream and black but brown was a tuffie.

I really haven't started fall shopping per say, just snagging the end of season clearance on summer stuff and the steals on bathing suits! I figure why not, I'll be at the Gulf next month and hope the weather's still pleasant for me to get in the water.

BTW Lushus....wth is your sig line there? Is it a hand gun? <confused>

I guess I'll be the lone poster here that hates Old Navy, lol.

Not only do I find their commercials annoying, but the all of 2 times I ventured in their store I thought it was similar to being in a higher priced thrift store.

(And I'm not knocking thrift stores, most of the ones in my town are great.)
