A quote from the letter:
| Quote: | "We sent a letter to Mrs. Holloway before leaving to explain what we were doing and why.
We believe that she must have received the letter shortly before Natalee was reported as missing" |
Natalee went missing on Sunday-night/Monday-morning, if Beth had received the letter prior to Natalee's disappearance, she must have received this alleged letter the latest on Saturday May 28.
If these people had planned this escape so carefully would they really take any risk to have Beth informed béfore they had the chance to work out this carefully planned run-away?
"we believe that she must have received the letter shortly before etc"
So, they just send the letter, not worried that Beth would find out what was about to happen béfore they had the chance to take of?
Please what a BS.

I think Tylergal and Anna wrote the letter so they could sit around on boring nights in the cage and blame the letter on different people. The letter is absolutely written by someone of their character - mean, hateful, hicks.

Let me throw in a little "monkey" wrench. Don't get me wrong, Lazlo, because I think the letter is fake also. However, I'm sure Natalee knew that Beth was going on a little trip to a so-called family reunion. In that case, she would not have received the letter until she returned to MB on the day Natalee was to return home.

The letter claims they believe Beth received the letter béfore Natalee disappeared, for that to be possible the letter had to arrive in MB (or wherever Beth was staying) May 28 the latest.
Even if it was send to MB (and Beth not being there), the "info about the escape and why" was in that letter. Jug could have opened it, Matt could have, George jr. could have.
IF this was true (which I don't believe for a minute) Natalee and friend would never take the risk that anyone (whether Beth, Jug, Matt or George jr.) would be able to read about escape info prior to them able to work out their carefully planned escape, that doesn't make sense.

FLAME AWAY!! |
I hear you! If it is a hoax it sure covers a lot of bases of some unfavored speculations and theories of a few posters! One that has stood out to several of us is Joran not recognizing Natalee's picture and Joran's "lucky charm" comment. The most far out part of the whole thing is about Jug. I do believe that Jug should not be entirely judged on the basis of this letter, that is my only reason to not declare the letter legit. It is interesting to me that some posters, particularly Wang, has declared it a total hoax! Hmmm, even too "hot" for Wang to joke about?

I'm confused here with the math: Paulus got a letter, Beth got a letter, FBI got a letter, ALE got a letter, and Holland got a letter. That's only 5. Who got the other 15?

Not really a question of "hot" in my mind, or that there couldn't be some comments made about Jug's inability to achieve anything that even closely resembles an erection - I just think the letter reeks of bullshit.
It's not hand written. Why?
It's not hand addressed. Why?
The writing is stilted. Why?
There are no true details that hadn't been made public. Why?
It's a hoax, folks.

this letter does indeed reek of hoax, but i have to remember that very little in this entire situation has turned out to be what it initially seemed to be.

Is this letter where Larry Garrison got his info on a book that was being written about same subject and said baby being due? Wonder how he knew the plot? The contents of the letter must have been leaked.

Larry is an author, maybe for the sake of
embellishing his forthcoming entertainment efforts
in the Natalee case, he authored the letter and used
his fancy font

Am I reading this wrong or are they referring to Beth as Mrs. Holloway? She's Mrs. Twitty not Holloway.

They have to be absolutely nuts at BFN. There is no similarity at all in sentence structure.
Agreed....anything to throw this on J2K.

That e-mail alleged to be written by Deepak is hogwash too.
Like some 21 year old guy writes a 5,000 word e-mail filled
with minute details of an evening out.
If there's similarity in the e-mail and the letter, it's because
the same moronic fraud wrote both.

Ive been waiting for someone to say theyve seen Natalees ghostly image and for people to start trying to take pics and send them to ghost hunting sites |
That's an idea for my spooky Aruba list -
51. Have Aruba's postal carriers seen ghostly images on letters or ghostly apparitions on their route? Letters that have an other worldly feel to them?
Other spooky items from the list -
1. Has anyone staying in Natalee's old room at the HI left suddenly? (other than Beth?)
2. Have there been sightings of Natalee or weird sensations felt by those at the beach where Natalee was dropped off?
3. Is it possible that a psychic imprint of Natalee was left in the rear seat of DK's vehicle? Is there something we might learn from this presence? Does the mystery stain keep reappearing?
4. Does Deepak ever see a ghostly Natalee in the rear view mirror?
5. Have there been mysterious footprints by or in the mud by the pond that was drained (by athletic club)?
6. Has anyone seen unexplained lights in the old lighthouse?
7. Have there been malfunctions or strange events in the casino Natalee visited?
8. Is the van der Sloot residence haunted? If so, why whom? What about the Neighbor's house? That other house on the hill (the one with barb wire)?
9. Any laundry or luggage carts, or other conveyances, reported moving by themselves at the HI?
10. Mysterious stains that keep reappearing at any of these sites?
I remember hearing that the letter was mailed to more than one person. PVDS did not turn it over to the police immediately. JMHO & memory.
I remember seeing something in Diario last year about tourists that go looking for the NH related spooky sites. They even had a picture of a few.

I might be mistaken, but wasn't this stupid fake letter published and discussed here on this site a few months ago?
If so, is it misleading to imply that Scared Monkeys published it within the past week? Or, maybe I'm missing something.
