sidewalk art
These aren't my drawings, but I found them fascinating, so thought I would share. Keep in mind, these are ALL done with colored chalk on city sidewalks.

Woe, I cannot BELIEVE those are all done with colored chalk! I have never seen anything like these drawings. They are all so realistic. Whoever drew them is really talented. And are you the photographer?! Anyway, thanks for bringing a different kind of art to our attention. To me sometimes this kind of off -the- wall art is the best. (And you're the best, too!).

Hey Woebegone (or anyone else) have you ever heard of this photographer who took photos around Brooklyn around the 1940's, of different sidewalk chalk drawings around the city? It's really cool stuff. Can't remember her name.

Whoa, Woe!
Those are sharp and cool!
Like castles in the sand.
Shame that they don't last forever except in photos.
Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed them very much.
Pax, wish I could help, don't have a clue about the lady you mentioned.

No problem bamuda. I've got a book of her photography somewhere and will try to find it.
