Hi Friends of RU,
This early afternoon I am heading for a long week-end to Germany. We take the route along the Rhine. We will drive about 350 kilometers. 100 miles is about 150 kilometers. There is a webcame infront of our hotel so I try to see where it is. So check it out once in awhile maybe you will see me waving!!!! This will be a romantic outing. We stay in a room overlooking the river from our balcony. I am all excited....need a rest. Once in awhile I need to be pampered.....lol

Thank you both. I am back a few hours ago. It was really nice and hope to do this drive along the river Rhine again and again.

Glad you had a great time, Blenchi. The Rhine is such a beautiful river. I remember being in Cologne, and the river running right alongside the town.
Did you enjoy the spectacular forests, too?
