Those who know, don't say. Those who say, don't know.

I agree, people who have money, don't talk about it. People who don't have money, talk about it all the time! Laughing

It doesn't work in this textbox. Did you try in MS-Word? I use the ALT key at the right side + character.

Or maybe your keyboard is different?

BTW it is : déme una cerveza.

Post your accomplishments, and show how this board has "highly accomplished posters"

I will be first.

I am a mother of two, been a single mother for 18 years, and have both a son and daughter 26 and 22. One grandchild 15 months with some health issues that we can deal with, with time. I work as a medical professional as an RN I feel I have every right to this baord as anyone. I came from money and refuse it, I need to make my place in this world, with my thoughts and trials.

OK gang anti up., what accomplished posters do we have

I completed the Purpose Driven Life on CD, unabridged edition at the end of last month. I plan to trade with a friend, my cd set for her copy of the book. I listened twice, and it did take me longer than 40 days. It's a great work, and I found it helped me to provide verbal/written substance to some of my thoughts.

Dudo esto. Pienso que el es el lobo de otros tableros. El hombre habla espanol?

(How do you do the other symbols on the keyboard? I forgot. And now my Spanish looks bad.)

I don't know if DD speaks Spanish.

To make those symbols I use MS-Word and copy/paste them.

żYou see? Use the SHIFT+ALT+? to get ż

Use the Alt-button and the numeric keypad ...

Alt+130 é
Alt+144 É
Alt+160 á
Alt+161 í
Alt+162 ó
Alt+163 ú
Alt+164 ń
Alt+165 Ń
Alt+168 ż
Alt+173 ˇ

ˇ De nada !

Als je ze regelmatig gebruikt, ken je ze zo uit je hoofd Laughing

If you use them often, you'll know them in no time !

Amen!

I glad you asked! You Rock!

We don't always know why the Lord challenges us. Everything is in the Lord's time, not ours. JMHO

I have to learn the skills. It takes practice, but I'll do my best.

I did buy the "Daily Inspiration" ~ I'm starting today. It has inspirational passages to reflect on. There are so many good thoughts here.

"What on earth am I here for?"

Quote:
Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT

When I read this (among other passages) there are many things that come to my mind. When things are going good, it's easy to trust the government, the taxes, the politicians, neighbors, etc. When things get tough, is that trust still there? Is it easier to be cynical? Point the finger? Trust in the Lord? Trust the Lord in times of abundance and in times of draught? Does everyone see the same abundance and draught? JMHO

When I think of the disappearance Natalee Holloway, I know that all things happen in the Lord's time. When will we hear news? When will she be returned to her family? It's just so hard to live in the present. JMHO
