A Final between Brazil and Portugal would be EPIC! But I'll settle for Brazil and Germany.
Two Soccer Powerhouses!
PARABENS, PORTUGAL!

Me also. This World Cup has had some of the worst refereeing I have seen in a very long time.

Dutch controlled the field
The Dutch controlled the field the whole game but could not score for the life of them. Portugal played dirty throughout and scored one fair and square. The Russian needs to be investigated. It is almost as if he tried to throw the game.

boy was i too optimistic after the first red card....no one is particularly happy with Ivanov, but he's not a patch on the nitwit that gave 3 yellow cards to the same player last week.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/world_cup_2006/teams/holland/5104644.stm
....The Dutch had 22 shots on goal, eight on target, and captain Edwin van der Sar was frustrated by the number of chances that his strikers wasted.
"The Portuguese had the smarter team," the goalkeeper said. "Our missed opportunities made the difference.
"Falling a goal behind was no problem but then you have to score the first chance you get and that one we missed.
"And at the end when we played 10 against nine we didn't get the ball where it should be."

Yes, i said before they are all fairly young and new to a big tournament, so although I would have hoped they would come far, i never thought they would come to the finals, not yet atleast, they have alot of potential.
And the portugese players are experienced and sneaky, and know how to take advantage with sneaky tactics like falling down as leaves and as if they are badly hurt.........
Ahh but in two years we will have the European Championship already.....

BOTH teams played dirty as there was so much at stake.
The Dutch could not score on Portugal, even when the Portugal team was down by 2 men!

Holland never had a two man advantage. A Dutch player was sent off early in the second half which evened the sides. Then a second Portuguese player was sent off and Holland finished the game with a one-man advantage.
I thought the physical play was pretty evenly divided between the two teams. Lots of cleats in the thighs all around. I thought Holland had a decided territorial edge but just couldn't pull the trigger.
Oh, and that Russian referee; the worst I have ever seen. He completely lost control.
