Diva: Dog whisperer..lol

I have rescued yet another dog...sighs

Last night a neighbour from a few blocks away knocked on my door. The whole neighborhood knows I have beagle(s) (after someone killed Coco ) anyhow, he said he had her for two days and described her to me.. I went to his home thinking it was indeed my Chloe. When I looked I was just astounded because this was not Chloe but a much younger dog who looked almost exactly like my dearly departed Coco. Black saddle, brown face and muzzle with white legs and tail. He went on to say that he had asked around the neighborhood for those two days and no one claimed her, most saying they thought it was probably one of mine.

Some evil sob had a choke chain fastened around her neck VERY tightly and that chain had a plastic wrapped wire hanging from it where she had obviosly been chained up, the wire was cut...Poor thing had marks around her neck from the chain

He said, since the dog wasn't mine he was taking her to the pound since he raised dachsunds (sp?) in his home and didnt have a fence, so being the sucker I am, I took the dog (who is BEAUTIFUL, btw) home. I bathed her, treated her for fleas and worms, clipped her nails and introduced Lady to the brood... Mr Jones & Mami the cats, Prince & Chloe..

So here I sit in my bed with a 6 y.o., 3 dogs asleep beside me with one cat perched on the bedside table and the other perched on the vanity..

LMAO, just wait till the puppies get here!
