I agree, me neither. However, I think they start with the assumption that the general public, the viewing audience is stupid and will believe anything they say.

I smell a setup here. How convenient that there was piece of Natalee's clothing still on the beach. How easy would it be for Jossy to get a piece of Nat's clothing from Beth?
Where did the pipe come from? Was it supposedly in this persons car?
He just conviently happened to have a pipe big enough to weigh down a body. And the pipe washed back up to shore but Natalee didn't? |
I stroll on the beach every chance I get and am often confounded in my efforts by the number of heavy, metallic sections of pipe that seem to float up on the beach prior to my walks.  It's like a damned minefield out there.

Me either. This man could have done many things. Anonymous call to LE with a descrption of the car and tag number comes to mind. Anonymous letter to LE is another. The car horn is another. That would have drawn attention to what was happening and scared off an attacker.

Jossy/Beth were insistant there was evidence in the landfill.
IMO, Dave was setup to find something there. Beth was going to do a dramatic identification that it was something unmistakably belonging to Natalee. ALE halted the search of the landfill. Beth/Jossy were on every TV show showing their desparation. Beth said several times she would not return to Aruba, UNLESS there was some need to identify something for this case.
Now, there's the Colombian who has appeared with the 'evidence'. Beth has expected the call for several months, to identify the article.
IMO, it's the blouse Natalee was wearing at C&C. She changed when she returned to HI, but threw it away after throwing up on it. If the people who did the re-enactment could find a blouse to match what Natalee was wearing at C&C, so could Beth/Jossy.

I turned the tv and the computer off last night after watching the possible five minutes of this junk It was nothing.
I thought that he was being held for helping to dispose of a body.

I assume a piece of her top, since it's of unique pattern/colour fabric.
There would have to have been quite a violent struggle in order to tear a piece of fabric from Natalee's top. I'm skeptical about any piece of similar cloth "found" by this columbian......

As early as May 31 / June 1, the Aruban Coast Guard and helicopter were searching the perimeter of the island. Unless a body had been weighted down with significant poundage, decomposition gases would have caused it to rise to the surface. These are warm waters that would provide ideal conditions for quick "float up" of a corpse.
If she had been dragged out and released (as opposed to taken offshore a long distance by boat) is there any doubt that her body would have been found in those first few days ?
I just don't believe this Columbian; his story just defies logical and certainly critical thought.

A pipe heavy enough to effectively weigh down a body, wouldn't float up to shore. It might over time, be moved along the bottom by the tides and be washed ashore. I wonder how many lengths of pipe wash up on shore all over Aruba in a year?
I wonder how one secures a pipe to a dead body on the spur of the moment and do it effectively bearing in mind it's being suggested a 17 year old boy carried this out and evidently, flawlessly since no traces of Natalee have ever been found.

Just a thought: Maybe it's not the NFI that's taking so long. Didn't it take something like 7 months or so for ALE to get assistance from the FBI in requestioning the MBers going through proper DOJ/State Department channels?

Wow, this man witnessed a horric crime, collected evidence from the beach to support his story, and sat on it all until a year later?
I really hope his story is true because that means there's finally some closure for everyone involved, but I really can't help to be skeptical of it. I'm curious to know what kept him from coming foward earlier on.
