Off topic. The begining of Rita's show, last night.
Hi all. Did any of you see the begining of Rita's show, last night? I almost thought that she was going to belch and grab her crotch. She looked ridiculous. When she went to a taped interview with her first guest, she did not realize that her microphone was on, as she was heard saying to her staff "did that sound good?" LOL.

JD, I think Joy and VC are going to have to start a refugee's version of OC just for you.
As for Rita. I can't figure out how she got her own show, that women just seems an odd choice for a tv personality. Guess someone must like her.

I don't have cable, so I only see Greta, et al, when I'm traveling.
Saw Rita for the first time in the motel two nights ago.
Man, does that woman have a FREAKIN' WEIRD SOUNDING VOICE!!!

Good description!
I kid you not that there was actually an entire thread once on Open Court on CTV devoted to Rita Cosby....primarily comments about her voice, but everything else as well. It was hysterical.
It made me really a bit mad at the time, though, because not too much prior to that I made a number of comments on the Holloway board on there about how much Beth's voice irritated me...her little speech mannerisms and the squeakiness, etc. Drove me NUTS listening to her. I got bashed and almost banned for that! I posted later that it didn't make sense to me that it was a big farce to have people posting jokes right and left about Rita's voice over on OC, but any negative comments about Beth's voice were "off limits."
Well you know.....it's the "grieving mother can do no wrong" thing over there.
Just remembering stuff like that makes me appreciate Refs more than ever.
