New evidence in Aruba from a witness. Not a suspect but he's in jail.
So who is in jail and why?

This is a gentleman who stepped forward, I was put in contact with him, he saw somebody on the beach. I put him in touch with Janssen so he's been in jail for a month now
Greta:
we might laugh, he's a witness and in jail? Is there legal authority to hold him on a whim?
John
I feel sorry for him they certainly want them to come forward but my understanding is he's held and he's talking. He's allegedly witnessed something, he's got physical evidence and it's been sent to the NFI
This guy Carlos, he's supposedly witnessed the events of Natalee's death and disappearance and the disposal of the body?
He saw two peoplr on the beach. Natalee is one of the two.

One person doing something to Natalee?

Yes, from a distance, there was an assault, a noise and then disposal of the body. It was a confrontation, an assault and disposal in the water.
Greta:
Any description of the guy who did the assault?
John:
Tall and thin as I understand. No names associated, no suspects, just a description.
That's how it all started, I was contacted about first hand info and where Natalee could be found

Physical evidence that's consistent with his story, that's been sent to The Netherlands. There's also some weights been recovered that were used to weigh down the body, consistent with the place they were taken from.

One thing I don't know, I don't know what beach

Why is she holding him
John:
He's from out of the country, he might be illegal and will disappear if she doesn't hold him

Does this seem to be moving slowly if he was picked up April

We might think that, but the physical evidence is sent to The Netherlands, so it takes time.
The police are on strike, I thought they'd been on strike for the last 13 months but....

A strike over some ovetime dispute I understand..

Carlos got in touch with JQK? 
Didn't Jossy tell Dana Pretzer that Carlos came to some newspaper woman and told her he trusted Jossy and wanted to tell Jossy his story. Jossy accepted the guy and was told the story?
Check the transcript I posted last Sunday night, that's exactly what Jossy said. So what the hell is JQK talking about.
Somebody's fibbing.

Carlos is a witness, it's been leaked from the police. I can tell you, Carlos came through another lady that works in a newspaper, she came to me told me I have a friend who wants to tell you some things b/c he trusts you. I accepted this Carlos and he told me a story that he was at home he had discussion with his wife in Columbia, he wanted to relax and got in to his car drove to a beach far to the North past the lighthouse. He put his car behind some bushes and slept, he was awakened by a wonman screaming..a woman was saying no no no...according to him he saw one of these suspects with a girl that suddenly became silent. He took something from the trunk, put the girl in it and went into the ocean, he swam with the body out in the ocean, came back got in his car and left.
He's still in custody. He claims to have two pieces of evidence which he must have handed over to the police by now. I hope it doesn't disappear or rather that it doens't go somehwere and we never hear anymore about. I hope we get results back for a change

This makes no sense.
A witness saw something on the beach.
Then a splash.
Now speculation about weights.
If a body were dumped just offshore how could it have been missed?

Agree, makes no sense at all. Only makes sense if this guy is just in it for the reward money. Or, if he is not really a witness but is actually a suspect who did the dumping.

Two people were involved and one was Natalee. It was observed from a distance, it is dark and the description of the other person is tall and thin. Weights are evidence. Gee, she must have been screaming, "Stop, stop, don't rape me any more, I'm Natalee Holloway." From a distance in the dark, how would this person know it was Natalee.
Did they also go diving for the weights? Am I correct in assuming the weights would sink? And from this distance I'm assuming this person saw the other person tie these weights to Natalee? They must have night vision.
