Pooky, a nice thread for you!
Pooky, I admire your patience, resolve and sense of humor. You seem to have taken some criticism to heart and changed for the better. Especially I like how you don't get rattled or take things too personally.
Just wanted to thank you for being a sincere and genuine person on these boards. To me, it's been much appreciated!

It always stopped me when Dad reached back over the seat with a backhand! (Don't worry...he always missed, but the song stopped.)

That song always got to my Mom too.  Isn't it funny what all we have tucked away in our heads? Sometimes I can't find my car keys, but let any Elvis song come on the radio and I can sing every word.

Pax and all... thank you! I didn't see this thread (until Pax pointed it out on another thread).
I've truly enjoyed participating here and I'm sure when summer is over, I'll be back to my mega-posting self.
