Off topic "Esquire" survey of men. An interesting

Hi all. "Esquire" magazine did a survey of men. As a guy, I think some of the results are interesting. The whole survey has twent-eight questions.

http://www.esquire.com/features/articles/2006/060611_mfe_July_06_Survey.html

You're hosting a dinner party and you can invite three men and three women from the following lists. Who's coming to dinner? (Percentage is number who selected each person among their three choices.)

Oprah Winfrey - 33%
Angelina Jolie - 30%
Julia Roberts - 28%
Faith Hill - 27%
Jennifer Aniston - 26%

Rachael Ray - 20%
Ellen DeGeneres - 19%
Jessica Simpson - 17%
Madonna - 11%
Dr. Laura Schlessinger - 9%
Maureen Dowd - 5%

Would you rather...

Have $50,000 - 82%
or
Have a three-way with Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson - 18%

I think giving up the $50,000 might be worth a three-way with Maureen Dowd and Dr. Laura......me and Maureen will tie up her first. Laughing

Jonathan, your answers are very interesting! Thanks for sharing!

Earlier I was asking what 3 men the survey chose as being asked to dinner, and thanks for that answer also.

I wonder how many men buy Esquire? Most of the men I know would not choose Condoleezza Rice as their first choice and definitely not Oprah...maybe that is why I am not married at the moment. Laughing

I agree... While Im sure there are some (very few) fellas out there that WOULD indeed choose a purely intellectual dinner companion such as Condi Rice, I have a very hard time believing that any majority would.. especially not 35%!! I think, quite honestly, survey responses are often the product of what the respondent thinks is politically or morally correct and NOT truly what/whom they would chose if indeed it ever was presented to them in real life.
Im pretty sure if they did this survey of women.. under same conditions... if asked to chose between supping with George Clooney or Henry Kissinger... the percentages would favor Kissinger.. which we all know would be a bunch of hooha.
