In the explanatory memory at the concept concerning statutes games of changes (see Hfd. 1.3) it is also established that the supervision on the entering casino is not executed as meant in the law (see Hfd. I.1.3). Here it is should be noticed that it is unwanted that law and practice are completely out of control.
From the casus Natalee Holloway is also appeared that people under the age of 18 years, regularly unhindered can enter the casino. |
As you see it was discussed in June 2005.
Joost Tonino was also discussed. |
I know what was discussed in 2k5 liesbeth, I was young when I started discussing this case. After three years we hear it first from you that it is soo logical Paul is no longer a judge because of a casinovisit. Gee, how come nobody came up with that earlyer?
What you quote is from 2007 b.t.w. but it is also established that the supervision on the entering casino is not executed as meant in the law.. not that people under the age of 18 years are breaking it.

| liesbeth wrote: | Joran's father (a judge in training) was responsible for his minor son.
He went with his minor son to a casino to play in a poker game, while it is against the law that minors gamble in casinos.
One logical explanation that Jorans father could not become a judge anymore is the fact that he went with his minor son to a casino to play in a poker game.
In Holland judges are supposed to be integer and are not supposed to support other people in illegal activities. |
| Quote: | "logic? You mean your logic"
1. He didn't "fail" anything. He wasn't selected as he was viewed to be too academic and his application of the laws i.e. inflexible. A stickler. Meaning 'extenuating circumstances' mean nothing. Exempli gratia" but Natalee doesn't do cocaine, she was only holding it for a friend and as a joke offered to someone to snort it" -- TOUGH LUCK UNDER THE LAWS SHE IS CONSIDERED A DEALER.
2. Sounds like you and the Casino nonsense hey. "stickler for the law" what.
a) "free" tournament is not 'gambling'. Look up in the .be law book some laws in written in Dutch which is good enough as because they are written in Dutch must mean they apply to Holland Aruba and even Vrystaat met die ' Vierkleur'
"Social gambling" means gambling that is not conducted as a business and that involves players who compete on equal terms with each other in a gamble if all of the following apply:
(a) No player receives, or becomes entitled to receive, any benefit, directly or indirectly, other than the player's winnings from the gamble
Do some simpel research on the definitions of wagering, gambling, chance, risk, and skill
Then do some research on "gaming commission" "enforcement" "penalties"
And when you have done that, you'll find typically of all places Alabama is the State that what you repeatedly allude to is in fact on their numerous silly law books. that is an adult will be 'charged' if in the company of a non-adult according to their bizzaro State laws. Not surprising off course
Spend some more time 'googling; the definitions of 'gambling' 'contest' 'wagering' ' chance' 'risk'.
Once you have done that, re-check accompaniment with an adult.
Then recheck 'gaming commission' overseeing "rules".
then after all that, check to see who is a judge or not a judge on a certain date playing social 'gambling' and what law exactly it is if you are in the presence or a minor or even furnished the minor a cigarette that he smokes in the front of the polis but cannot legal purchase himself.
STICK IT ALL IN A BLENDER ON HI-SPEED AND SWALLOW THAT. |

And Terrible Child, you can try to tell me a lot of crap, but you or your friends do not need to tell me anything about the Dutch language.
@Terrible Child, here is an article to read: the OM said there is enough to arrest Joran.
| Quote: | Gearresteerd

After a few hundred posts, I have to ask, if we determine when Paulus left the judge-in-training program, and why, will it lead to discovering what happened to Natalee?

Could be Paul was upset for not becoming a judge If Joran has an anger problem maybe Paul does to. If both were around Natalee who knows!

Believe that language thingy has been milked for all it's worth one time too many. Sounds more like claims of being from another galaxy than a language difficulty.
But will say I am fascinated by the logic that 18 yo's carousing on vacation, boozing it up and having fun should be held to higher standard than the judiciary in Aruba. That's the kind of logic I find difficult to follow but then that's just me.

| Quote: | Housekeeping director Milarca Wederfoort declares about the behavior of the group of students during their holiday:
Many students slept together in one room. Both men and women, mixed up. I knew this since I sometimes found 7 hair dryers. I could also see that in the bedrooms the bedcovers had been removed from the beds, in such a way that people had slept on them. The bedrooms were completely turned upside down, the carpet was soaking wet. The yard-cups from Carlos ‘n Charlies were all over the place. The toilets in two rooms were completely blocked.
That afternoon the cleaning lady finds a very messy room 7114:
There were many empty bottles that had contained alcoholic drinks in the room. There were some 6 of those yard cups lying all around. The toilet paper was left about the room. |
| Quote: | VAN SUSTEREN: Did Natalee give you any trouble, or any friends give you any trouble up until that last day when you saw her? Was she a troublemaker, in other words?
PLUMMER: No.
VAN SUSTEREN: What's she like?
PLUMMER: No. None whatsoever! None whatsoever. That's the primary reason for me coming and speaking out now is to dispel a lot of the misinformation and the lies and rumors and innuendo about how the students were acting on this trip. You know, a lot of people said they were out of control, they were drinking too much, they were just drunk all the time, and that could not have been further from the truth. As I've told other people, there were a lot of families at this resort with their kids. And I can't tell you how many adults came up to us, the chaperones down there, and told us how well behaved, how polite these students were. |

A Nigerian father has taken his “lazy” 20-year-old son to an Islamic court for refusing to participate in productive activities, asking that he be imprisoned, the state news agency NAN said Friday, Reuters reported.
"He is not listening to words and he is bringing shame to my family,” Sama'ila Tahir, a market trader, told NAN. “I am tired of his nefarious deeds. Please put this boy in prison so that I can be free."
Tahir claims his son dropped out of school and is in a gang, Reuters reported.
Siding with Tahir, the court sentenced the young man to six months in prison and 30 strokes of the cane for being disobedient.

Maybe if Paul and Anita were just a bit stricter on Joran, Natalee would not have misssed her flight!

CORNING, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say relatives of a deceased Tehama County woman cremated her remains on a makeshift barbecue and continued collecting her retirement checks.
Ramona Allmond's daughter and grandson were arrested Sunday on suspicion of embezzlement, elder abuse and disposing of a body without a permit, among other charges. They are being held at the Tehama County Jail in Red Bluff on $30,000 bail, with arraignment set for Thursday.
Sheriff's Capt. Paul Hosler says the 84-year-old Allmond likely had died of natural causes, though investigators are still trying to determine the cause of death.
Hosler says her daughter, 50-year-old Kathleen Allmond, and her grandson, 30-year-old Tony Ray, told investigators they left the body on her bedroom floor for a week before cremating the remains in their backyard fire pit. They then covered the pit and remains with soil and planted a tree on top, according to investigators |
