The ground was laid, and also the VDS's were aware of the ground support they had. It wasnt pissing in the wind to fight back.
a mod of another board and i were talking about the fact it seems Refugee's is the nucleus for all the boards that want truth not fiction. Everyone has their home boards, but we are at the center (even if its just for some relaxation). Which is why we have the links for the others on our index page.
Curious, as a lawyer... did you ever think you would get involved or as involved in a case via internet? Rather than just waiting til a charge was made etc? |
I completely agree with everything you said in the first two paragraphs I quoted. I (we) have had a bunch of really proud moments here and this is the latest!
And, for answer to your question directed to me: I never even lurked onto a message board before this case; even message boards on Aruba travel sites that I have browsed on a daily basis for years. The fact that I even discovered that there were message boards out there last summer that were actively discussing this case came to me quite accidentally.

Victim's Cry, thanks for an outstanding interview.
Mr. Tacopina, thanks for answering the questions in such a forthright and friendly manner.
It's fantastic to see such great interaction between a moderator and an attorney. Thank you both very much.

Great job, VC! Your questions were very well written. Perhaps you could teach some of the TH's how to interview properly.
Thank you Mr. Tacopina for taking the time to respond. I'm happy to see you truly believe in Joran's innocence (as many of us do) and plan on sticking by him 'til the end.

lol. My questions were long winded and 3 in one at times. However, I figured since it was print, unless the question included lots of explanatory reasons for it, then it might not make sense to people reading. I was afraid Joe T would growl when he saw the 2 pages.
Oh.. for the record, we offer equal time, so if JQK wants to answer some of my questions I will be more than happy to send them

Anything's possible with this case.
There was a story on the news yesterday about a guy from Florida missing for 20+ years, found in England posing as a British Noble. His family had no clue.

JQK will probably exit this case as soon as the civil suit is dismissed.
If he values his reputation he probably wishes he had never heard of Beth Twitty.

I think you're right. He DID NOT take this case pro bono. so he got his stash upfront. He'll disappear into the sunset!

He definitely didn't take the case pro bono but he may have taken the case on contingency. If he did, he's got to be feeling like the biggest chump in the free world.

Can you say: backfired! |
One could say they are running out of feet except they are already where the sun don't shine.
I have a hunch that BHT is an eager as well as unattractive dupe.
I also can't see why an attorney would want her as a client unless there was something really deep going on. I have never seen anything as unprofessional the first JQK filing in the rural county superior court where I reside. I doubt if it would have been accepted under rules of format.
So sad. So many harmed and no Natalee.

Rohn, I promise I'm not trying to nit-pick here and honestly the same thing about the Kalpoes jumped out at me, too.
But Johns and Jones are not African Americans. |
When I went to school, pre PC, they would have been considered members of the negro race. |
Sometimes trying to be "politically correct" causes errors, I think they are Afro-Arubans.

I read somewhere that VelcroJoe Mammana was paying the fees for JQK; however, that may just have been spin put out to appease the dupes who would have feltl doubly duped if they knew that their hard-earned donation dollars weren't just being used for Toyota Tundras, Fat Boys, and Butox and boob injections, but were actually being wasted on something as frivolous and useless as JQK!!!

Hi dayo, I think the confusion came because Joe Countertop Mammana put up the 250k reward, and offered Beth his team of international lawyers.
I am not sure if it was they or JQK who filed the application in netherlands for damages if someone is found culpable. Would love to know.
However i am pretty certain he isnt paying JQK. I have little time for jqk myself, but he knows better than to involve himself with fees from that thug.
JQK is probably taking it on contingency which makes me question his sanity or he is taking it on a fee sharing agreement with the firm that filed the suit. Which wasnt his.

Thks, VC, After posting my comment, I Googled and found, on Michelle Simonsen's hate blog, where VelcroJoe says that he's not paying for JQK. While I don't generally believe him or her, I also don't doubt that VelcroJoe is so desperate for press that he would never deny claiming credit for JQK if he were responsible for the fees.

What is it with JQK and his affinity for attracting women like EAT and Denise Brown? Both women are lying schemers who have attached themselves to the likes of JoeyM and Anthony Fiato.

JQK was still riding on the OJ Civil trial (12 yrs ago?) coattails, when he took EAT's case.
He actually had very little to do with that case, but was part of the team headed up by Daniel Petrocelli.
Daniel Petrocelli is one tough, ass kicking attorney.

Bravo VC.
That was most excellent.
You did a great job. Good questions. Thank you for the surprise.
Are you going to do it again?
Thanks to Joe T for being kind enough to answer questions and take the time. He sure didn't have to and I appreciate his willingness to let us in on the true facts.
