Thanks everyone.
This was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
We were all there with her till the very end. Everyone in the room was in tears, to include our vet, who has been soooo good with her and us through the past few months.

my thoughts are with you too woe...she had her loved ones around her when she went to sleep and that means a lot.
I wish there was something to do that would help, but all i can offer is cyberhugs

The sorrow never completely goes away - but then again, we would not want it to really. Each day is a teeny step toward easing the pain. My best wishes are still going out to you Woe.

I'm so sorry, Woe. I just saw this. That is a beautiful picture of Doodles. It is so hard to give up a beloved friend and companion. The best thing you could have done for him was to give him the peace from his pain and be with him at the end. My thoughts and sympathies are with you. I know how it hurts.
