Crazy Cat People- Painted Kitties
Omg.
"The book these came from said some of the paint jobs cost $15,000 and had to be repeated every 3 months as the cat's hair grows out. Must be nice to have $60,000 a year just to keep your cat painted!
Oh my gosh.

What can one say Kay after looking at these pictures? To me it's insane but I guess whatever floats one's boat in life. I can't imagine these poor cats having to sit there long enough to be painted, nor someone spending that kind of money when so many people in the world need medical care, food for their family, or heat for the winter. I guess everybodys priorities are different in life. I enjoyed looking at the pics, but wonder who is crazy enough to actually do this to their cat??

That was my thought FGL when I saw these a couple of months ago. It's a sad commentary that anything visual anymore has to be filtered through the prism in our minds that it could be photoshopped.
How many truly magnificient things might be pooh-poohed as being unreal and how many phony things might be believed.
I always wonder what the ramifications are for any kind of photo or video evidence in crimes and trials anymore.

Gosh, I don't know, I can only hope they are not real. The poor cats would spend an eternity licking. Yeah, I don't think they are real.
If it is photoshopping, whoever did it is extremely talented. The pics are beautiful really. Sooo many cool little "costumes".
Yeah, I don't think they are real, and this person who made these is prolly making tons of money out there in computerland. Gawd I can't even draw a stupid hat on someone or anything ridiculous like that.
As far as photoshopping in trails and such, I think that photoshopping is fodder for message boards mainly- I think it is pretty easy for the techies to figure out if they have been photoshopped. I think? Who knows

They are not photoshopped. I received an email forward with those pics and others about painting pets several months ago and did some research on it. Yep, people do it. It disgusts me.

IT is expensive, can't imagine having that kind of money to blow on my fur covered family members
One question that comes to my mind, the poor cats have to lick to clean their coats, does this make them want to lick obsessively? I hope its a non toxic paint, and it doesn't taste gross for them......

It is a spoof
Okay,
found it.

It is a very interesting write up- it is a spoof, and a VERY good spoof at that!
Here is the book that it came from-

Wow, that is very cool.
